Paediatric Non Communicable Diseases forum in Kenya
Kenya hosted this major forum to discuss way forward on the pediatric non communicable diseases. Pediatricians from all counties in Kenya and outside Kenya were in attendance.

Benfra Clinical Internship undertook a special event during the Easter holidays in Laikipia county, Kinamba to give lunch and hygiene lesson to the teenagers of the area and also some guidance to the growing young men. This event was witnessed by one of the foreign interns from USA, Wisconsin. The event took well over 4 hours. Girls were taken through by the intern hygiene tips and were supplied with sanitary towels and inner-wears.
Benfra Clinical internship was privileged to receive and orientate in Nairobi Ms Jen Rhodes, coordinator Global Health program, America Academy, and Ms Kiran A. Patel, program Manager, Global Child Health, America academy. Both were attending the pediatric non communicable disease forum in Kenya. Through Benfra, they had an opportunity to experience the city of Nairobi before they flew to Eldoret the venue for the forum

Dr Jim Conway and Dr Tina Tana from states of Wisconsin and Chicago respectively, when they were in Nairobi, Kenya to attend Kenya pediatric forum on immunization uptake. The forum took place on the 5th May 2016 through to 6th May 2016 in Nairobi Club. they later visited David Sheldrick elephant orphanage and the Giraffe center. Benfra Clinical Internships was privileged again to host them for one day tour of Nairobi
